TREE, Hong Kong’s best loved furniture brand, is looking for a talented human resources specialist to join our fabulous office team. The successful candidate will prove the high level of experience and knowledge required to excel in the role and will take ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance management, learning and development.  This position is based in Ap Lei Chau. 

Key Responsibilities


  • Handle the consistent selection and recruitment of excellent staff;
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives;
  • Lead on the onboarding process of new staff;
  • Maintain employee database and ensure all personnel records are updated and accurate;
  • Help review and formulate company HR policies and procedures, and assist in HR system implementation upgrade and enhancement;
  • Support in compensation/benefits areas including but not limited to payroll calculation, tax filing, MPF and benefits administration etc.;
  • Co-ordinate and support the delivery of staff development and training needs;
  • Manage full spectrum of daily office administration and facilities maintenance functions including workplace health and safety, equipment maintenance and office supplies procurement;
  • Support in handling workplace investigations and any disciplinary procedures;
  • Assist in resolving employee conflicts through positive and professional mediation 


  • A Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline;
  • Highly driven to achieve positive commercial outcome;
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience in Human Resources;
  • Well-developed knowledge and understanding of the Hong Kong Employment and Labour Ordinances and other HR related regulatory practices;
  • Ability to work in a diverse, multi-cultural organisation;
  • Demonstrated capabilities in performance management;
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills with an eye for detail and sharp analytical skills;
  • A proven ability to work independently and under pressure;
  • Excellent Oral and written communication skills in English.  Fluent in spoken English and Cantonese an asset; 
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
