A world leading intergrated communications agency is looking for an Associate Director, Reputation Practice.


  • Creating programs considering a variety of platforms, channels and audiences
  • Identifying business problems that clients are looking to solve and ensure they are understood by team
  • Maintaining understanding of the clients’ businesses, priorities, pain points and competitive landscape and helps the team do the same
  • Staying knowledgeable about markets, sectors and channels in which clients operate; uses internal/external resources to address knowledge gaps for self and team
  • Anticipating what’s next; helps clients get ahead of issues and capitalize on new opportunities
  • Demonstrating empathy for clients – understands clients’ mindset, challenges (personal, professional, internal and external) and barriers to success; takes appropriate action
  • Balancing the needs of the client and the needs of the firm
  • Developing new business leads
  • Delivering integrated thinking rooted in insights
  • Delineating team roles and manage intra-team conflict
  • Holding self and team accountable for performance, compliance and ethical business conduct in accordance with firm values
  • Helping identify and mentoring junior and mid-level staff
  • Prioritizing growth of self and direct reports
  • Supporting leadership’s vision of possibilities and direction


  • At least eight to ten years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media or publishing
  • Strong sector experience
  • Preferred fluency in Mandarin and English
  • Experience in managing a team as well as mentoring junior staff
  • Strong communications capability – active listening and ability to persuade and negotiate (particularly as you will be involved in new business)
  • Confidence in presenting ideas and providing counsel to internal and external audiences
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage competing interests
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Good judgment and willingness to take risks
  • Forward-thinking and understands industry specialty areas and roles
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Senior Manager.
