Brand Journey is a recently established brand solutions partner to hospitality and other service businesses. We are focused on helping our clients to bring their brands to life by providing strategy and support in developing their brands, in particular their brand customer experiences. As well as consumer brands, we also work on developing corporate and employer brands for organisations. We work with a range of clients around the Asia Pacific region.

Role Objectives: 

If you enjoy working in a small team, being very hands on, and are creative and passionate about building brands, then this is a great opportunity. The Brand Development and Marketing Manager will work on a range of business initiatives, manage the promotional plan for the Brand Journey business, and support on client brand project solutions. Working closely with the Managing Director, this will include:

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Developing and implementing the promotional plan to grow Brand Journey’s business – including content development, social media promotion, and design and enhancement of the brand website and communication materials 
  • Co-designing, facilitating and participating in client workshops as required 
  • Developing brand training materials and resources 
  • Developing brand messaging platforms and experience ideas for clients 
  • Producing client proposals and presentation materials, working with design agencies or freelance designers as needed 
  • Undertaking desktop research

Experience Required
The Manager should: 

  • Have 8+ years marketing , communications or brand development experience, gained in an in-house corporate marketing team for a services based business 
  • Have strong experience in developing communication messaging frameworks and creative presentations 
  • Have developed and implemented marketing campaigns integrating social media 
  • Have managed design agencies / produced communication materials

Skills/Education Required
The successful candidate will: 

  • Be self-directing, able to think for themselves and work independently 
  • Be creative, and like to develop new ideas and solutions 
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable co-facilitating client workshops 
  • Be comfortable in a fluid work environment 
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, ideally in Marketing or Communications 
  • Be fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (written and spoken) 
  • Have advanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and basic level Excel
