An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Coordinator at an International Law Firm based in the Hong Kong.
The Business Development Coordinator supports the regional business development efforts with partners throughout Asia and colleagues within the department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting/driving the business development efforts of the firm’s Asia capital markets, real estate and banking practices and the relevant client programs.
Coordinates/leads pitch, proposal, and client meeting preparation (talking points, research, etc.) for partners, providing advice on our approach, delivering tailored documents that tie into our strategy and points of differentiation, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with Business Development colleagues across regions, as appropriate;
Maintains the firm’s marketing database including Marketing Center, deal collections and InterAction.
Plans, researches, develops and executes strategic plans and BD initiatives and activities regionally in Asia; collaborates with other BD colleagues in Asia and globally to maximize cross- selling opportunities;
Interfaces with partners to identify and develop client opportunities utilizing the full mix of business development digital tools as well as platforms such as alumni/diversity efforts;
Provides support on a cross-border, cross-departmental key client work and relationship development, helping to develop strategic recommendations for growth, circulating news articles, analyzing research, and working closely with the relationship partner and Business Development catalyst; provides updates on team during Global Business Development calls;
Leads practice-related seminars and briefings in the office (planning, marketing communications, logistics); leads receptions and social events for practice groups and key clients; collaborates with broader team and partners on strategic event planning;
Works with the PR & Communications team in the implementation of Paul Hastings’ communication strategy in the region, including identifying hot topics in identified practice areas;
Occasional travels to the firm’s China, and Seoul offices might be involved.
