Job Description

A new Southeast Asian sports and entertainment agency is looking for a Marketing Manager to work closely with the General Manager. 

  • Formulate top-line brand and marketing strategies, key messages, media angles etc.
  • Plan and execute brand communications and marketing campaigns for clients and corporate teams
  • Campaign budgeting and financial gatekeeping 
  • Manage consulting team to conduct market research, best practice compilation, media audits etc 
  • Day-to-day liaison with properties contacts. Closely work with team heads, marketing/PR teams, and event ops teams  
  • Work closely with GM on new business pitching. Perform due diligence, pitch document preparation, pitch process management 
  • Day-to-day communications with and management of client accounts  


  • The ideal candidate must have an inherent passion to sports and the business of sports and entertainment, with the goal of evolving into a key contributor and advocate in the industry   
  • Interest to develop a career in sports management 
  • Min. 4-5 years in brand marketing and/or PR communications, preferably with an agency background 
  • Solid experiences working with sports brands, rights-holders, events etc 
  • Understanding of branding and business culture in Greater China and/or Asia-Pacific 
  • Experiences working with APAC clients and/or western clients looking to enter APAC regional markets 
  • Strategic, creative thinking-oriented, with strong attention to details 
  • Willingness to work both within a small team, and contribute as a member of a large global media conglomerate 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills a must. This position is demanding with regards to writing and social communication skills 
  • Good project and client management skills 
  • Chinese language proficiency an advantage 
  • Willingness to travel frequently to southeast Asia and Mainland China
