We are a Fitness Centre, located in the heart of Central, and we are looking for a bubbly personality to join our team. The morning Receptionist hours are 6 am – 2 pm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Efficiently check in and handle routine member service tasks using the Studio’s systems such as (but not limited to) resetting passwords, updating credit cards and managing class reservations
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable, preparation of information required by company accountant and other such relevant persons
  • Confirming online payments and all other payments
  • Navigating basic questions about membership, services and billing inquiries
  • Package renewal notifications process. Having a complete understanding of packages, classes, times, renewing process, referral processes and marketing campaigns
  • Assisting with marketing materials and marketing duties
  • Providing a clean and organized Welcome Area at all times
  • Being proficient in the use of Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, and any other computer program required to meet the business needs of the customer
  • Providing high levels of customer service and attentiveness to member needs
  • Being responsive to member feedback and complaints and escalating issues to the Studio Manager as necessary
  • Performing point of sale transactions
  • Quickly addressing any maintenance or equipment issues that are visible to members
  • Assisting Studio Manager in administrative tasks including (but not limited to) billing calls and confirming appointments
  • Proactively seek ways to positively influence the member experience and address member feedback
  • Effectively communicating new promotions and services at the point of contact, so that the member gets the most out of their gym membership
  • Management of cleaning staff, including scheduling, workflow and duties
  • Class scheduling and management
  • Creation of a positive atmosphere in the Studio
  • General administration and menial duties as required
