Job Description


Objectives

The Sales & Reservations Specialist will report to the Managing Director and Business Development Manager, providing first-class service to sales enquiries, both online and over the phone.  The successful candidate will be available to work on a full time basis, with some flexibility of hours based on the unpredictable nature of workload during peak times.   They will contribute to the team as a whole, delivering regular customer feedback to the management team in order to better enable us to serve our clients going forward.  The successful candidate should have a keen understanding and passion for high end travel, and should have a broad travel history to better place them to advise our clients.   

Responsibilities  

  • Promote the brand and our offerings during our infancy stage  
  • Serve as the first point of contact for sales enquiries
  • Handle multiple queries simultaneously by phone, live chat and email – with flair 
  • Provide a travel-concierge style service to clients before, during, and after their trips
  • Manage the in-house CRM system with utmost efficiency 
  • Work with the management team to constantly improve the experience we give our clients, to exceed their expectations and stay ahead of our competitors  

Requirements

  • Travel industry experience with a luxury travel agency is essential
  • Fluency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of another language would be a bonus
  • A love of boutique travel, as well as food, and a keen eye for style and design
  • Results driven, delivering constant improvement
  • Highly organised with an efficient personality -  A passion for customer service
  • The ability to stay calm and positive under pressure, and to diplomatically resolve difficult situations
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced team, prioritising a busy workload -  Exceptional communication skills and and innate ability to engage people from all walks of life
  • Familiarity with Google Drive / CRM / CMS / Excel, Social Media
