Job Description

One of the UK’s leading fund management companies is looking for an Interim Senior Marketing Manager for a Maternity Leave Cover. 

This role will be covering for the Senior Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific.

Manage the Asia Pacific marketing team (1 other person) and provide strategic input to plan and execute marketing plan to support business objectives including Intermediary, Institutional, and Private Banks Distribution.  Communicate effectively with key stakeholders on key marketing initiatives.  Manage the team to ensure efficient and effective delivery. 


Experience Required:

  • Excellent English and Cantonese language skills

  • Financial Services Marketing experience to the intermediated market place

  • Proven marketing, PR and events management experience in the Asia Pacific region

  • Proven knowledge of the intermediated market within the asset management arena

  • Demonstrated understanding of investment management products

  • Proven ability to apply this knowledge to marketing promotional collateral and activity

  • Working knowledge of the business activities of advisory firms, institutional clients/consultants, professional buyers/wealth managers within Asia

  • Working knowledge of marketing communications across print and digital media

  • Working knowledge of the regulatory environment and compliance implications


Skills Required:

  • Strong planning and campaign management skills, capable of mixing experience, creativity and insight to reach solutions

  • Proven ability to maintain momentum of work when subject to a variety of pace, volume ad complexity

  • Demonstrated capability for self-learning and self-motivation with the ability to solicit support when required

  • Strong consultative skills and ability to communicate with Senior Management

  • Ability to manage a team, and work within a team as well as independently

  • PC skills: Intermediate level in MS WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT
